The Children’s Health Defense – Hawai’i Chapter, like many in Hawai’i, faced some COVID challenges and has been restructuring in 2022. We’ve continued working hard to uphold medical freedom and informed consent, as well as search diligently for new, qualified leadership. We are proud to introduce Mele Kalama-Kingma who will lead our chapter under the new structure. Mele brings fresh energy, a deep wisdom of our culture, incredible strength, and passion for protecting our keiki.

12 years’ experience in natural body product manufacturing as an entrepreneur of Mamalani
Masters Degree in Public Health in Indigenous and Native Hawaiian Health
Registered Dietician and Cultural Nutritionist
Bachelors Degrees in Natural Science, Human Nutrition and Food Science
Macadamia Nut Family Farm in Ahualoa, Honokaa for 4 years
